FLUIMAC DRAGON DR 15 PVDF chemical plastic pump, 1.1 kW, 380 V, Ex

The DRAGON series of chemical centrifugal plastic pumps from the Italian company FLUIMAC are high-performance units driven by a direct-drive electric motor for the rapid pumping and discharge of liquids. The special semi-open impeller design allows for the continuous pumping of even viscous and contaminated liquids containing fine suspended solids. DRAGON centrifugal pumps feature a robust casing and an inspection port for connecting the electric motor and checking the mechanical seal. The semi-open impeller is mounted on the pump shaft, which is connected to the drive shaft of the electric motor. The mechanical shaft seal is located at the rear of the impeller. The bellows of the DRAGON pump’s mechanical seal are made from 100% pure PTFE for use in extremely corrosive environments. The entire seal assembly and its components are mechanically driven to prevent slippage on the shaft or sleeve. This assembly is mounted externally and is under internal pressure. DRAGON centrifugal pumps must only be installed with the shaft in a horizontal position and with positive suction head. Appropriate measures must be taken to prevent dry running, the formation of vortices and the possible ingestion of air. Dry running or operation with air bubbles may result in damage to the mechanical seal.
